Calculate L10 Bearing Life
This calculator uses the standard L10 bearing life relationship to estimate basic rating life. It is a useful first-pass tool for comparing load conditions, reviewing design changes, and checking how bearing life changes as applied load increases.
Life Hours = (L10 × 1,000,000) / (60 × RPM)

Find an IntegratorWhat L10 life means
L10 life is the basic rating life at which 90% of a sufficiently large group of identical bearings are expected to still be operating under the stated conditions. It is a comparison and selection tool, not a guarantee of actual field life.
Real bearing life can be heavily affected by lubrication, contamination, misalignment, shock loading, mounting quality, preload, temperature, and duty cycle. That means two applications with the same calculated L10 value can perform very differently in the real world.
This calculator provides a basic L10 life estimate only. It does not include equivalent dynamic load factor derivation, axial/radial combined loading details, lubrication correction factors, contamination factors, temperature effects, reliability adjustments beyond standard L10, or manufacturer-specific bearing life methods.
